It is great the Messi-uh is making friends around the world. I'm so touched that Mr Obama had a "bro" moment with his new friend Hugo Chavez. I think we should rename the White House, Circus Maximus.

It is great the Messi-uh is making friends around the world. I'm so touched that Mr Obama had a "bro" moment with his new friend Hugo Chavez. I think we should rename the White House, Circus Maximus.

Do people seriously believe that's a handshake?
Look closer: it's a thumb wrestle. Hardly a friendly gesture to a dictator. And from the looks of it, Obama won.
You know, Edgar... I did look a little closer. It actually looks like Mr Obama is showing Hugo a form of "SELF ABUSE" hand technique. ROFLMAO! Take a second look...
There are many interpretations of what happened, but whatever it was, it certainly wasn't a "handshake."
I've analyzed it a bit more and come to the conclusion that both Chavez and the Saudi king tried to put Obama in a pretty standard wristlock. See the similarity?

In the Saudi picture you can see that Obama lost the initiative and got submitted right away. We probably won't ever know what happened with Chavez because we can only see the first stage in the sequence. My guess is he got forced into that `bow' position again and tapped out.
In any event, it's disgraceful that the president would get owned by such a basic submission move. If he had the courage or political will he could have reversed the lock and finished them both with something like this:
